The Florida Diamond Pros Baseball Program continues to make statements by providing its players with a superb and extremely impressive coaching staff that lives up the program name. We are definitely proud to announce the addition of Coaches Juan Colon and Rick Davis to our summer program.
Coach Colon is a graduate of South Broward HS where he was named to the All-County and All-State as a junior and senior. He played his collegiate career at Mars Hills College and Lynn University. Coach Colon also coached at Lynn University and helped them their first Regional Berth in 2006 and National Championship this past year. He has also been a baseball instructor at the Bucky Dent Baseball School between 2004 and 2009. Coach Colon is currently the assistant head coach at Boca Raton Community High School and in 2009 won their first District Championship in 17 years.
Coach Davis is a graduate of Cypress Bay HS where he also made All-County and All-State status as a SS in both the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel and closing out his HS career with 2004 FHSAA State Title. Additionally, Coach Davis earned MVP Honors at the Broward County All Star Classic. He went on to have a successful college career as a 4 Year starter at Lynn University.
Coach Davis has coached at Everglades HS and West Miramar HS and is currently an assistant coach at Boca Raton Community High School.
We are very excited to have these coaches join our organization and our players in our program will definitely be better for it as well.
