As we get closer to the 2010 summer season the Florida Diamond Pros continue to stay true to their name and their mission statement.  The Florida Diamond Pros are proud to announce the addition of Coach Josias Manzanillo to an already impressive coaching staff!

Coach Manzanillo was drafted as a 15 year old RHP by the Boston Red Sox in the 1983 Amateur Draft from his native home of the Dominican Republic. He made his major league debut in 1991 for the Boston Red Sox and spent 11 seasons in the pros pitching for several teams including the Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Yankees, NY Mets and Florida Marlins. 

The addition of coach Manzanillo is just another statement on how we surround our players with a true professional staff. Coach Manzanillo will assist with the development of all the pitchers in the program; as well as assisting in areas in the organization.
