The Florida Diamond Pros are very excited about the new addition to their already extensive baseball program – We have always believed in a strong farm system within the program and with the support and encouragement from our fans and friends we are proud to announce the 2010 14U – FDP Showcase Developmental Program.  

As we enter the 2010 season we must accept the fact that high school baseball has changed and is evolving into a year round sport that its main focus and main attraction is summer & fall baseball. 

It was high school baseball that was the main attraction and were the future stars were discovered but that has changed so much and Perfect Game has a lot to do with it….the summer season is May, June & July and during those three months a summer showcase team averages 40-50 games and that includes showcases and team workouts at colleges.  

About 90% of those games are played in front of scouts, recruiters, evaluators and/or someone that can impact the player’s college baseball future.  

Summer Showcase teams allow players the opportunity to play in Perfect Game, Under-Armour, WWBA, USA Baseball – Jr. Olympics, Connie Mack, Mickey Mantle and many college invitational’s during the summer circuit. Your performance in these events can be a huge impact on your future college playing career.

The FDP – 14U Spring Program will allow the player the opportunity to prepare for college showcases and pro workouts and train during January, February, March & April of 2010.

          3.      Strength & Conditioning Program
          4.      Core Training Program
          5.      Individualized Coaching & Traiining  (hitting, pitching, infield,  outfield, catching)
          6.      Speed & Agility Program
          7.      College Recruitment Player Education (NCAA, recruiting, contacting colleges, financial aid)
          8.      NCSA Collegiate Recruiting Seminar –  Rich Hofman


During the January 9^th, 2010 tryouts at St. Thomas University we will be selecting players that will begin immediate training and practicing in January.
