The Florida Diamond Pros Baseball Club is proud to announce that Dillon Rose of St. Thomas Aquinas as committed to Florida Tech University.
Dillon Rose a 2010 graduate who played in our 17U team this summer is no stranger to elite summer baseball as he grew up playing for the Plantation Stars. "It was really nice having Dillon play with us this summer, I faced his team throughout the years and to finally have him play for our program and see him go off to college has been a great thrill" stated Program Director Harold Vaca.
Dillon played outfield and was a catcher for the 17U program this summer and was part of the success for his team and the program.
It was a big debate for the Rose family as both Brown University and the Air Force Academy were interested in Dillon....all three schools were strong in the Engineering Field but staying close to home and playing baseball close to home was a big factor....stated Dillon Rose.
"We are very excited with having Dillon Rose commit, he's our first commitment for the 2010 class which is made up of only a few guys" Coach Mercurio Fl. Tech
The Florida Diamond Pros would like to congratulate Dillon Rose and we look forward to seeing him play at the next level.
Good Luck Dillon.....
